I have been using Triclophr 4e herbicide to control poison ivy with a tank mix of 2oz/gallon + 0.5 oz/gallon of surfactant. It will burn the grass but it kills the ivy dead! Our hunting land area was completely over run and the areas I have been spraying are cleared and I am moving further out. If is was not 6 hrs away I would have it licked by now. I am also using it to kill Buckthorn and honeysuckle by mixing 20% in basal oil or diesel and basal spraying on the small diameter and hacking with a machete around the trunk and spraying the cuts or cutting off and spraying the stump on larger diameter trees. The stuff works great. Be aware that treating in the winter you may see the tree leaf out but it will die shortly thereafter. I would recommend this stuff without question!!!
