Captan Gold XL - 6.25 Pounds
By far the cheapest way to apply captan and Keystone is the only provider I could find selling it at a reasonable price. Has the texture of cake sprinkles, so first put in a cup with warm water, let sit til it dissolves and THEN mix it. Otherwise lumpy and harder to dissolve.

Triclopyr 4 Herbicide - 2.5 Gallons (Same AI as Remedy, Garlon 4, Relegate Herbicide)
By: Doug H.I have used this product - Triclopyr 4 herbicide (Garlon) to control ailanthus trees, black locust trees and japanese hops. For foliar application I mix 10 parts water with one part Garlon - this is an oil based product but works extreemly well when mixed with water for a foliar spray application. My applicator of choice is a kids type battery operated super soaker - it produces a very long spray stream. The trees die quite quickly and do not return - I do not find new baby trees as it appears the entire root base is killed. The japaneese hops die quickly also but may need a second application as hops are so thick some of the plants are hidden/protected from the spray solution by other plants above.
I will be trying this product as a basil bark application on larger trees. A friend recommend using a 1 part Garlon with 3 parts diesel fuel for a basil bark application - spraying the bottom 12 to 18 inches of the tree trunk (all 360 degrees).
I have found this product to be extreemly effective, easy to use and this was the best price I could find. -
