Although more expensive than kerosene or diesel, it purportedly is greener and less toxic for the area being treated. It is an excellent diluent for Triclopyr 4E and 2D ester herbicides. Low oder and does not destroy garments that come into contact with it.

Triclopyr 4 is a fine replacement for Garlon 4. It has been very effective in cut stump, basal bark and cut stem applications controlling a 10+ year kudzu invasion. I cannot tell any difference between Garlon 4 and triclopyr 4E is about a 40-50% savings over the DOW product. I've been using 4E since February and the dormant root/stem applications have worked very well and cut stem applications have been very effective in preventing re sprouting of the kudzu vine. My dilutions are the same as called for by Garlon 4.

Still waiting on results, just planted and sprayed 1/2 acer plot, should have some results in a coulpe weeks

Did what is was suppose to do. Greatly reduced fungus.

The Crossbow arrived quickly and was well packaged. It arrived in perfect condition. I use it with a backpack sprayer to kill back woody brush (honeysuckle shrub, multi-flora rose, autumn olive, etc.) from badly overgrown fence rows. It does not kill everything immediately. Expect 4 to 6 weeks for a complete kill. Best used in late spring/early summer. Crossbow is much better for this purpose than Round-up because it kills only broadleaves, leaving the grasses intact to act as ground cover. I highly recommend this product for this purpose. The use of a surfactant seems to help but is not strictly necessary.
