Orion Super Blue Dye - Highly Concentrated Liquid Lake & Pond Colorant

Orion Super Blue Dye from Orion Solutions, LLC is a highly concentrated, non-hazardous liquid colorant with two practical uses: as a spray indicator dye for pesticides, fertilizer, and other applications, and as a lake and pond colorant for decorative water features, ponds, and other impounded bodies of water. As a spray indicator, it shows applicators exactly where the product has been applied, helping avoid oversprays and skips without affecting the performance of the pesticide or fertilizer it's mixed with. As a pond colorant, it gives water a deeper, more natural blue appearance while also reducing sunlight penetration, and it disappears gradually over 2-4 weeks, so ponds and water features can be refreshed as needed throughout the season.

Directions for Use

• Terrestrial spray indicator: 6-12 oz per 100 gallons of spray solution; for backpack or small sprayers, use approximately 1/3-2/3 oz (2-4 tsp) per 3-gallon tank
• Aquatic/pond application: 32 fl oz (1 quart) per acre-foot of water, or 1 gallon per 4 acre-feet of water

Aquatic use instructions: To calculate water volume: Length (ft) × Width (ft) × Average Depth (ft) ÷ 43,560 = acre-feet. Pour the concentrated dye directly into the water at several locations, near the shoreline or from a slow-moving boat for larger bodies of water; applying near the deepest area or a mechanical circulation system will disperse color fastest. Allow approximately 24 hours for full, even color distribution. Allow at least 24 hours between applications. Apply in spring and reapply as needed throughout the season to maintain color intensity. Do not apply before or immediately following heavy rainfall that could cause overflow. Allow several hours for the product to disperse before swimming, irrigating, or fishing. Do not apply directly to drinking water.
