Enversa Herbicide - Encapsulated Residual Control for Corn, Cotton, Peanuts & Sorghum

Enversa Herbicide is an encapsulated, Group 15 preemergence/early postemergence herbicide that delivers dependable residual control of annual grasses and small-seeded broadleaf weeds. Its capsule-suspension formulation enhances handling and soil activation, helping keep rows clean across labeled row crops, including corn (field, seed, silage, popcorn), cotton, peanut, and forage or grain sorghum.

Key Benefits

  • Season-long residual — forms a durable soil barrier against germinating grasses and small-seeded broadleaves.
  • Encapsulated formulation — capsule-suspension (CS) technology supports crop safety, mixing ease, and consistent activation.
  • Flexible timing — apply preplant, preemergence, or early postemergence (as directed on the label) to fit program needs.
  • Program ready — tank-mix compatible to broaden the spectrum and layer residual for tougher resistance management.
  • Multi-crop label — coverage for field/seed/silage corn and popcorn, cotton, peanut, and forage or grain sorghum.

Technical Information

  • Active Ingredient: Acetochlor
  • Formulation: Encapsulated capsule suspension (CS)
  • Herbicide Group: 15 (VLCFA inhibitor)
  • EPA Reg. No.: 62719-775

Use Sites & Target Weeds

For use on: Field corn, production seed corn, silage corn, popcorn, cotton, peanut, and forage or grain sorghum (milo) as specified on the label.

Controls/Suppresses: Annual grasses (e.g., foxtails, barnyardgrass, crabgrass, panicum) and small-seeded broadleaf weeds (e.g., pigweeds, lambsquarters, waterhemp, nightshade, carpetweed) as listed on the label.

Application Rates & Timing

Apply preplant, preemergence, or early postemergence to clean, weed-free soil within the crop growth-stage window specified on the label. Select rates by crop/site, soil texture, and organic matter, target weeds, and expected weed pressure. Activate the residual barrier with timely rainfall or irrigation. Use only labeled adjuvants and partners, and rotate modes of action within a season-long program to help manage resistance.

ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW LABEL DIRECTIONS BEFORE USE.
