Trimec 1000 Broadleaf Herbicide - Low-Odor 3-Way Control for Professional Turf

Trimec 1000 Broadleaf Herbicide is a low-odor, amine formulation engineered for fast, reliable control of the most common and toughest broadleaf weeds in cool- and warm-season turf. The proven three-way combination of 2,4-D, MCPP-p (mecoprop-p), and dicamba delivers rapid knockdown and thorough systemic control without injuring labeled turfgrass when used as directed.

Key Benefits

  • Low-odor professional formulation - designed for use in sensitive turf areas and high-traffic sites.
  • Three-way chemistry - complementary actives broaden the spectrum and improve efficacy on mature weeds.
  • Selective on labeled turf - controls broadleaf weeds while preserving established cool- and warm-season grasses.
  • Flexible application - spot or broadcast treatments with excellent tank-mix compatibility.
  • Reliable results - visible activity within days and thorough systemic control when applied to actively growing weeds.

Technical Information

  • Active Ingredients: 2,4-D (amine salts) + MCPP-p (mecoprop-p, amine salt) + Dicamba (amine salt)
  • Formulation: Low-odor amine, liquid concentrate
  • Herbicide Group: 4 (Synthetic auxins/growth regulators)
  • EPA Reg. No.: 2217-931

Use Sites & Target Weeds

For use on: Established turfgrass, including Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, fescues, bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, and other labeled species in lawns, golf course roughs, fairways (non-bentgrass), parks, athletic fields, cemeteries, sod farms, roadsides, and rights-of-way.

Controls: Dandelion, white clover, plantain, ground ivy (creeping Charlie), oxalis, spurge, chickweed, henbit, knotweed, buckhorn, shepherd's-purse, and many other listed broadleaf weeds.

Application Rates & Timing

The average use rate is 2-3 pints per acre. Apply to actively growing weeds on established turf. Use label-directed broadcast or spot-treatment rates by turf species, growth stage, and weed pressure. Typical professional programs apply in adequate spray volume for thorough foliar coverage; avoid mowing immediately before or after treatment as directed. Do not apply to newly seeded/sodded turf until established per label guidance.

ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW LABEL DIRECTIONS BEFORE USE.
