For normal control of moss, apply at the rate of 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet. A 20 pound bag covers 5,000 square feet, properly applied. For heavy moss infestations, apply at the rate of 8 pounds per 1,000 square feet. A 20 pound bag covers 2,500 square feet when properly applied.
