Pin-Dee 3.3 EC Herbicide is an oil-based, emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation of pendimethalin that delivers dependable, long-lasting preemergent control of annual grasses and select small-seeded broadleaf weeds. As a cost-effective, oil-based generic alternative to Prowl H2O, Pin-Dee 3.3 EC is suitable for row crops, orchards, vineyards, non-cropland, and turf & ornamentals when used according to label directions.

Warning: this product will stain surfaces it is applied to for much longer than Prowl or Satellite. Be careful spraying around porous areas such as asphalt, concrete, or other decorative areas.

Use Sites & Target Weeds

For use on: Alfalfa (forage, hay, seed production), bearing citrus fruit trees, bearing nut trees, bearing fruit trees, vineyards, non-cropland; plus labeled turfgrasses, ornamentals, and landscape/grounds maintenance sites (see T&O label).

Controls: Annual grasses (crabgrass, foxtails, goosegrass, barnyardgrass, signalgrass, panicum) and small-seeded broadleaf weeds (pigweed, lambsquarters, spurge, carpetweed) as listed on the label.

Application Rates & Timing

Select rates by crop/site, soil texture/organic matter, and target weeds per the label. Apply pre-plant incorporated or preemergence; activate with rainfall or irrigation as directed. Typical agricultural preemergence programs use approximately 1.5-4 pt/A; turf & ornamental rates vary by species and region—follow label tables for site-specific guidance.
